17 Sep HUBRIS
“WHAT I’VE FOUND IN MY RESEARCH IS THAT REALISM, SELF HONESTY,
ARE THE ANTIDOTE TO EGO, HUBRIS, AND DELUSION.
I just cannot stand to watch the hubris of Congressional testimony. I do not need commentators to realize that our nation has been sold. Those upholding the betrayal of our citizens, military, and allies cannot be accepted when it is obvious what has happened. Are those who defend the wrong be any better than those who committed them? Can optics be the reason for not allowing actions that should have taken place be prohibited?
When our troops were herded onto the military transport planes and not be allowed to bring their personal items with them, including a guitar, did this not look like a military route? When our highly trained dogs were forced to be turned loose on the tarmac and their handlers forced onto the planes because of optics, do you think that that looked good?
What about the optics of the Taliban now carrying M4 rifles instead of AK47’s? The pilots who escaped with their planes and helicopters made it to bordering countries? Joe is going to give the Taliban back those aircraft that made it out, what about those optics?
Hubris is acting superior when a person is actually inferior. Optics become more important than doing the right thing. Joe, your optics suck!
According to the government the non-vaccinated are threatening the vaccinated. Excuse me! Does this mean the vaccine does not work? Real good optics there.
LIFE, LIBERTY, AND THE PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS. Familiar words, which one of these are not under attack? Everything that this nation holds dear is under attack. There are those who raise the question to God, why have you not sent someone to cure cancer, bring peace, harmony, and celebration?
His answer will be, I did send someone to do all these things and you aborted them.
Ye who have hubris to rely on human will and intellect will be the ones described as “thrown into darkness where there will be wailing, moaning, and gnashing of teeth.”
